Augustine said, “People who sing, pray twice.” Music is a big part of many churches
and it plays a beloved role at ours.
Our all-volunteer choir is led by Erik Kroncke. Erik is an award-winning operatic bassist,
who has traveled around the country and throughout the world to perform a variety of acclaimed roles. The choir, open to anyone in high school and older, meets on Thursday evenings to practice and then shares their music on Sunday mornings.
Mary Jane Austin brings her talent and
love of music to the pipe organ and piano.
A professional pianist and vocal trainer,
Mary Jane teaches at Johnson State College, accompanies several area choruses, and frequently collaborates with other musicians on exciting musical productions. Mary Jane also began a youth choir at the church, which meets on Sundays after church and is open to any school-age child.
The choir is open to anyone who loves to sing. Practice is every week on Thursday evenings at 7 PM. Find out more by emailing Erik.
Mary Jane Austin and Betsy Ainsworth have organized a youth choir that meets weekly after church for about 45 minutes (11:15 to noon). They perform several times a year in front of the congregation. Any children grades 1-8 are welcome to join.
